VisibleSecurity is an HTTP level implementation of SSL. It uses RSA public key encryption for key exchange and AES (Rijndael) symmetric key encryption to encrypt data. Unlike SSL, it only encrypts data that need to be encrypted, and therefore, significantly saves the bandwidth. Server components that support the VisibleSecurity implementation include xTyCrypto (with key exchange) and xTyAESCrypter (without key exchange). Client components that that support the VisibleSecurity implementation include xTyHTMLDecrypter. Password Forgotten? The New Solution. The new way for users to recover their forgotten passwords. Mother's maid name? Favorite food? No... What's my grade? This is an application of VisibleSecurity showing the new way of information broadcasting. By moving password verification from the server side to the user side, users don't have to send their passwords or log in to as server to access certain information. Limited Resource Sharing This shows how VisibleSecurity can be used to implement simpler ways of sharing restricted resources, such as customer information database, within a department, etc.. Again, users don't have to log in or send their passwords to access such resources. E-Mail Security xTyHTMLDecrypter is a VisibleSecurity client implemented as an extension for Internet Explorer. It can be used with web mail client such as Yahoo!Mail to encrypt e-mail messages... Credit Card Transactions This example shows how web transactions can be done securely and visibly with VisibleSecurity. Web Site Validation With VisibleSecurity, users can visually verify the authenticity of web sites before they submit any data. File Encryption xTyFileCrypter can be used to encrypt files using a key of your choice. It is integrated with Windows Explorer and allows you to create or open standard ZIP archives.
