How to decrypt files and folders?
Step 0. If you received encrypted files from email, save them as you usually
would do to save an email attachment.
Step 1. (a) Open a Windows Explorer, (b) locate the file you want to decrypt,
(c). double click on the file.
NOTE: If you want to decrypt multiple files altogether, follow these steps instead: (a) Open a Windows Explorer, (b) locate the files you want to decrypt,
(c). right click on the file, and (d) select Decrypt under the popup menu
xTyFileCrypter.
Step 2. Enter the required key and click OK
(If you received the files from email. The sender should have told you the key.). The file will be decrypted.
Step 3. If the file you are decrypting contains multiple files,
it will pop up the
following screen that shows you all the files it contains. (a) Select the files that you want to decrypt,
(b) click the Extract Selected button, or (c) click the Extract All button if you want to
extract all the files.
Step 4. The files should have been decrypted and extracted now
if you have entered
the correct key. Click Close to close the file list window and finish.
